In very good printed paper dust jacket (with erratum, ‘1949’ rather than ‘1948’). 112pp. Small vertical tear to the top of the dust jacket over the upper cover, and some slight chipping along the extremities, else a Fine copy. Along with the chronological bibliography, 'Cockalorum' contains appreciations of Dorothea Braby, John Buckland Wright, and Clifford Webb reprinted from 'The Studio', two addresses on printing by Sandford and Buckland Wright, and two memorial pieces celebrating the life and work of Eric Ravilious. Illustrated with 5 scraper-board cuts, a reproduced drawing, and 77 wood-engravings printed from the blocks. John Buckland Wright, who worked almost exclusively on Cockerels for the five years covered by 'Cockalorum', is well represented with 26 wood-engravings. Set and printed in 13 pt. Perpetua. Item #37
