Cased in a maroon half cloth gatefold binding, with lettering stamped in gilt to the outer spine, and burgundy somegami paper over boards. The covering paper was decorated and variegated by the printer; plain grey endpapers. The gatefold construction is closed with a tuck, which is also covered in burgundy somegami paper. Housed in a matching paper and cloth covered slipcase. Unpaginated [pp. 46]. A fine copy. The text was set in Garamont, with unidentified nineteenth-century wood and metal types used for initials and display. The text comprises four sections, each printed in a different colour: blue, black, green, and purple appear respectively. Printed on Zephyr Antique Laid paper. Each section opens with an initial, combining a wood-type sort printed in light grey with an overprinted metal-type sort in red. Illustrated with three wood engravings by Will Rueter, each printed in two colours, on Mohawk Superfine paper interleaved into the textblock. From a total edition of 90 copies. The present copy is number 28 of 30 specially bound copies constituting the deluxe state. Signed in ink by Soucy, Fischman, and Rueter opposite the colophon page. Item #224
