Some mild shelf wear and fading to the covers along the edges, and a few minor dimples to the upper cover and first few pages of the text block, else a very good copy. Set in Bembo type. Illustrated with two colour linocuts by Barclay and his wife, Verla. One of 175 copies, of which this is number 54. Signed in pencil by the printer (and author) and his helpers on the colophon page: ‘Hugh, Verla and Girls’. Item #194
